Activities
In order to initiate and support the networking between medical research institutions in South Eastern Europe, the MedResIn initiative organized three meetings. These meetings were designed to serve as
- information, awareness and training meetings, and as
- proposal building meetings.
The information/awareness/training session were designed to inform researchers about the (funding) opportunities provided by the EU's 7th Framework Program for Research, Technology and Demonstration (FP 7) and to give them the basic know-how necessary to participate in or to coordinate projects under FP7.
The proposal building session were dedicated to the discussion and development of joint project ideas and to the planning and drafting of joint project proposals, i.e. it is designed to be the first step on the way to submitting a proposal for a cooperative research activity.
